Delete Your Account
We are sorry to see you go. If you would like to delete your GetALife account and all associated data, you have two options.
Option 1: Delete Directly in the App
Open the GetALife app and navigate to:
Profile → Delete Account
Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion. Your account will be removed immediately.
Option 2: Request Deletion via the Form Below
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion via the form at the bottom of this page. We'll send you an email with a confirmation link. After you confirm, the deletion waits another 24 hours, during which you can cancel it.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Login credentials and profile - your authentication account, name, email, and profile photo
- Budgets and categories - all budget plans, category assignments, groups, and monthly targets
- Transactions and partners - all transactions, recurring payments, and transaction partners
- Accounts and credit cards - all financial accounts, credit card tracking data, and balances
- Reports - monthly summaries and spending reports
- Data in our cloud services - your account data on our servers, the backup of your data key, uploaded images, your support chat, and, if you never made a purchase, your customer record at RevenueCat
- Data on your device - your budgets, transactions, accounts, and reports are stored only on your device, not in our cloud. If you delete your account in the app, they are removed immediately. If you use the form below, they are removed the next time you open the app on that device.
What We Keep
Some data is not deleted together with your account, but only when its retention period ends:
- Usage and error data at our service providers - Google Analytics (14 months), Crashlytics crash reports and performance data (90 days), and Superwall paywall data (12 months). This data is linked to your account ID, not to your name or email address.
- Purchase records - if you have made a purchase, RevenueCat keeps your customer record (user ID, email address, name, purchase history, and subscription status) for 10 years from the purchase, as required by law.
- Deletion log - a record that a deletion took place, kept for 90 days without your account ID or email address.

Important: Cancel Subscriptions First
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. To avoid being charged after account deletion, please cancel your subscription first:
- Apple App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GetALife → Cancel
- Google Play Store: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → GetALife → Cancel
Please Note
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use GetALife again in the future, you will need to create a new account.

Delete your account permanently?
When you click the button below, the deletion is confirmed. Your account will be deleted 24 hours later. Until then you can still cancel the deletion, after that you can't.
- All your data — budgets, transactions, accounts, and reports — will be permanently deleted.
- Any active subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period; it is not cancelled automatically.
- This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
Cancel the deletion
You opened the cancel link from our email. One click on the button stops the deletion and your account stays exactly as it is.
